Hi Everyone

Just to let you all know that the new season is soon to be upon us. Training will start on Saturday 18th August 10am. The following Saturday 25th there will be a friendly against Lytchett Red Triangle, away. K.O. 10-30.

Training will be every Saturday 10am thereafter.

We will be in a "League" and matches will be played on a Sunday. I await the fixtures from the DCFA. I anticipate there will be approximately 9-10 games before Xmas and the same after. I believe, but await confirmation, that the first game will be on Sunday 16th September.

Training fees are £1. Match fees are £2. Unfortunately the registration fee for this season is £30 (an increase of £5 from last season). This is not our doing but that of DCFA.

Our secretary Tracey Drake will be collecting the Registration fees at training in September.Tracey will also assist with the forms. There will also be a kit/training wear stall.

If any of you have any ideas for fund raising or know of any willing sponsors then please let me know. DCFA have increased Admin costs substantially this season and the fines for non-compliance with their strict rules and regulations have also increased dramatically so any help/ideas will be greatly appreciated. You will all appreciate the costs involved. For example we have decided to get new footballs for the new season and the cost for all 7 mini/youth teams is £700 ! The new balls will be colour coded so each team knows what balls belong to them.

I have also managed to secure a key for the changing rooms and toilets at the Middle School. However these must be left clean after use.

We have also decided to tidy up the entrance to our storage shed and the inside too.We are therefore having a working party (i.e. the committee members) attend to carry out the general tidy up on Monday 13th August at 6-30pm. If you have nothing better to do then feel free to join us.

Lastly we will be supporting 2 charities this year namely Myra's Wells, which provides water and clothing in Africa. We will be seeking to provide old football kits, boots and clothing. They even accept old Man Utd.kits! We will also be supporting Save the Children UK this year by making a modest donation.

Looking forward to seeing you all on 18th.

There's only one WAREHAM RANGERS !!!!!
